Meet Colter Combellick
Hau mitakuyepi, cante waste nape ciyuzapelo — hello, my relative; I extend a warm heart and a steady hand. I am Colter Combellick, Mnicoujou-Lakota and a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, descended from the Tin Cup, Chief Spotted Bear, and Chief Yellow Hawk families. My clinical focus is providing culturally responsive mental health care to clients of every background, with particular depth in Indigenous mental health, complemented by specialized experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma across diverse populations. My professional background spans the U.S. Department of the Interior, higher education, community mental health, and both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
My approach is collaborative and evidence-based: through psycho-education, skill-building, and treatment modalities tailored to your individual narrative, we will work together toward genuine, lasting improvement in your emotional wellbeing. I welcome prospective clients to schedule a complimentary thirty-minute consultation to determine whether we are well suited to work together.
